i wanted to scan some old art and post it here, but my schedule won't let me.

so here's a panel from the comic on which i am currently working. as you can see, it has yet to be inked.

i  was pretty happy with this panel.  i hope i like it as much once it is completed.

In my last post ...

... i mentioned a spinoff comic that i worked on, and how a person's critique of that comic made me decide not to distribute it.

the person went on a wild an viscous rant about how the comic was terribly racist.  he summed up his feelings by saying that the comic should be handed out to children at a kkk rally.

it was actually only one page of the comic that generated all his anger and hatred.

well, actually only two panels on the one page.

well, actually only two of the word balloons in those two panels.

so i thought i'd post the panel that he found most offensive.  please brace yourself before looking at this panel.  it is not for the genteel and enlightened persons of the 21st century, and definitely nsfw.

... of my friends' comic, a few years back i did a spinoff of their comic.  it was a full-size full-color comic, and i was quite excited about it.

i had high hopes for the book (not BIG hopes, but high hopes), but a certain person's cruel comments brought those high hopes crashing back to earth and i never attempted to distribute the comic to its intended audience.
